Proximity to central london, close to Earls Court Tube Station, good bars and cafes locally and trust me youll need them after breakfast at this hotel

Very poor conditions 1st night spent in dingy cell in basement suppose to be a double but actually a twin with beds pushed together and hadnt even bothered to change bedding from 2 single quilts to a double was told that we needed to change rooms after 1st night due to maintenance. No tea/coffee facilitys in room, was told by duty manager that we may use tea/coffee in breakfast room and take it to our room but late friday night after a very wet evening at Hyde Park concert was informed by night receptionist that not allowed incase we spilt it on the bedding?????? Obviously no communication between staff as when we returned the next night and different night staff we were incouraged to take it to our new room, this room was on the ground floor slightly better but no key in patio door would have helped especially on such a warm evening but this least of problems as at approx 7am was awoken by wife screaming as the toilet was overflowing and the carpet along with our clothes were soaking the room absolutely stunk and when I informed night staff was asked to wait while he contacted somebody but he would endeavour to get us another room to enable us to shower but as time passed this looked like a impossible request so we checked out while refusing to pay for nights stay. All in all I would class this as a very budget Bed & (very minimal) breakfast and personally would opt to paying more for somewhere more suitable either that or find the nearest park bench rather than stay here again

I liked nothing about it. I wish I could go back in time and choose another hotel.

We had to take our own luggage 64 stairs, how is that? Not even worth 30 pounds a night!

The Chelsea House Hotel was very convenient for getting to Stamford Bridge football ground to watch Manchester Unitred beat Chelsea.

The windows were boarded up/didn't fasten/would not open. There were holes in the floorbaods under the scruffy carpet. The twin beds were a large double bed.

The only nice thing in this hotel is the location.

I would never recommend this hotel to somebody, not ever to my worst enemy (what I don’t have). Why? The hotel offers NO comfort at all. The furnishing was very basic, old and I had the felling, they could have been taken from any bulky rubbish. The carpet was very very old and dirty. The room smelt not that nice. A kettle, a tv and a hair dry were also included in the facilities list, but for my surprise, I had to borrow the hair dry in the reception, for the kettle I didn’t ask, the tv didn't work and the wi-fi is located in the restaurant... The room was VERY VERY loud. It would be better to sleep on the street. This is because the glasses of the windows were very thin and they were broken in several places! It was just impossible to sleep without earplugs. In the winter I can imagine that the room would be very cold. The size of the room was enough and the bathroom was clear, there were warm water and the towers were changed in the first day. The next days, we found more than 2 towers in the room: one new and 2 from the day before. They just don’t care about the service. In the last day we had 4 towers in the room! A continental breakfast was included in the price. I tried it in the first day, and to say the minimum, it was a disaster! The coffee smelt and tasted horrible. The breakfast included 2 bread slices, sugar, margarine, orange juice, tree bottles of muesli from the same flavor and milk. So, I just ate there in the first day! It is also not true that they offer a “24-Hour Front Desk”, because one day I came at 7:30 to borrow a hair dryer, but nobody was there at this time. My conclusion is that this hotel was just ridiculous for the price I have paid for that (61 P per day). In many hostels in London is it possible to get better service than in this hotel. Very disappointing!

    Fabulous

The quality that I get is better than average budget hotel. Valued for money for the price I paid. The location is perfect.

    Exceptional

The room was clean, specially the sheets. Felt like they have just been pressed. Toilet and shower was clean as well. However, there were no bin liners so we used our own plastic bags to put inside the bin. Location is good, walked straight from tube station and found the hotel easily. Food is ok, though the dining area felt cramped. The staff were friendly. I just hoped they said in the advert that the internet is only available until 21:00.

The bins looker like they were not cleaned for days, no bin liners as well. Nothing big.

No tea and coffee making facilities in the room.

    Fabulous

You can't beat this location - it's three blocks from the Earl's Court Tube station with a variety of pubs and restaurants around. Easy access to all the main tourist attractions, and a nice retreat from some of the hecticness at night, although still very much in the center of things.

The room was very small, but still totally functional and clean.

The hotel in its self was very poor, but the price was very fair so I can't really complain!

Nothing, rooms were poor, bed frames and rubbish were dumped outside the windows!

    Good location.

Basement room had damp smell and noise from the street. No TV. Staff were polite, but not friendly.
